Plenty of Tottenham fans seemed to be extremely impressed with what they saw from Jack Clarke after the winger made his first appearance of the season during the Whites' Carabao Cup tie with Salford City on Tuesday night.
Marcelo Bielsa's men are into the second round of the competition after securing a 3-0 win against the League Two outfit. The Leeds boss made a number of changes for the game, including bringing Clarke into the lineup.
A number of Spurs supporters had been left frustrated after the winger - who signed for Mauricio Pochettino's men in the summer before returning to Elland Road on loan - had been an unused substitute in the opening two games of the season.
But the teenager got his chance at the Peninsula Stadium, and it appears that a large number of Tottenham fans believe that he made the most of that chance. He did not get on the scoresheet or contribute an assist, but he looked lively, particularly during the first-half.
Salford looked to frustrate Leeds while the game was goalless, and that often led to the ball heading out wide to Clarke to run at the full-back and perhaps try and get the ball into the box.
Clarke showcased some of his trickery as he started to get up to full speed, and he has certainly impressed some of the supporters that expect to be singing his name next season.
Here is how some of the Spurs supporters reacted to Clarke's performance against Salford...
Clarke Leeds best player so far. Always moving. Can run at a player. Looks at ease playing in a pich-esque system #thfc— Kieran McGarry (@kieran0078) August 13, 2019

2nd Half— Cooper (@AnAmericanSpur) August 13, 2019
I couldn't watch the entire second half, but Clarke seemed to be quiet for the 15 minutes I did catch.
He was pulled off in the 70th minute, but I thought he played well during his time on the pitch.
That kid loves a sole role more than Lamela lol
