Some Rangers fans are fuming at the Gers' decision to loan out Glenn Middleton to one of their biggest rivals.
The Rangers winger has joined Hibernian on a season-long loan deal, despite interest from 'clubs in Britain and further afield', according to the Edinburgh side's official website.
There is little love lost between the fans of Rangers and Hibs, whose rivalry intensified during the duo's second-tier spell earlier in the decade.
Tensions famously boiled over during the 2016 Scottish Cup final, which was won by Hibs even though it was Rangers who gained promotion without them that season.
And this is what those of a Rangers persuasion are saying about Middleton's move...
A club that was determined to take our badges off us , attacked our fans and players and refuse to business with us at all cost and we go and loan them a cracking young prospect to help them better there play absolutely shocking from the decision makers on this one— Wee Jk ❤️✋ (@JohnKerr1872) August 13, 2019
Not happy about this ...— ❤️⚪Manda⚪❤️ (@xxtigger_ukxx) August 13, 2019
How out of touch are you lot? Hibs.....really!!— Eccentric Aldo (@eccentric_aldo) August 13, 2019

Mistake, after there fans attacked our players.— colin wallace (@ColinCwallace) August 13, 2019
It’s a good move for Glen not sure why we would entertain that mob though should have went to NAC Breda pretty sure Hibs fans will give him pelters if he does anything wrong— Baldylocks (@Bigbarlow06) August 13, 2019
He'll be hating his life in about 3 weeks.....mad move— Wayhay79 (@wayhay79) August 13, 2019
The thought of him wearing that strip makes me a wee bit sick— Yaldy (@yaldydd) August 13, 2019
Not a popular choice with the support....this may come back and bite him, he is showing zero ambition when he clearly had a fantastic opportunity to play football in Holland.....— Viperpirate☠️☠️ (@paulnoo36266344) August 13, 2019
Wrong choice, should have went to Holland.— Alan M. (@Bluemaxx_uk) August 13, 2019
Of all the teams he could’ve went to, that mob would be behind Celtic reserves. Short memories Rangers.— Steven Boyle (@stevoboyle) August 13, 2019
Personally I wouldn’t haven’t dealt with them. We have done them enough favours over the years.— Kenny Godsman (@KenGodsman) August 13, 2019
Good luck to the lad but I wouldn't have dealt with that scumbag club.— Davie (@DavieMacRFC) August 13, 2019
Heads should roll for this.— Stevie (@SDCC72) August 13, 2019
Ironically, Middleton is expected to fill the void left by the injured Hibernian winger, Martin Boyle.
It was Boyle who became embroiled in a spat with some Rangers fans on Twitter earlier this summer, after a Gers supporter mocked his absence - prompting the Australian international to reply with a Shaun of the Dead meme.
Where should Rangers have sent Middleton?
