Reading are into the next round of the Carabao Cup after beating Wycombe Wanderers on penalties last night, having drawn 1-1.

The Royals had lost their first two games of the Championship season, so needed a win over League One side Wycombe to kickstart their campaign.

Ejaria made his second debut for Reading on Tuesday night, and earned rave reviews, with fans calling him 'a class above' after a fine performance.

The 21-year-old was branded 'superb' and 'the best player on the pitch', and whilst his long-term Liverpool future is unclear, the Reds will be encouraged after seeing Ejaria shine.
