A number of Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on John Bostock's performance in the Reds' 1-0 win over Fleetwood Town in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

The 27-year-old joined the City Ground outfit on transfer deadline day, arriving on a season-long loan from French side Toulouse, and was handed his debut by Sabri Lamouchi on Tuesday night.

Although still a little rusty as he works his way up to full match fitness, Bostock was decent in possession, provided the pass for the winning goal, and overall put in a display which bodes well going forward.

The winner came from Tiago Silva, who scored his first Forest goal on 59 minutes, collecting Bostock's pass and cutting inside his marker before firing home, to edge the Championship side into a second-round tie against bitter rivals Derby County at the City Ground.
