Everton fans spot Fabian Delph in training today

Fabian Delph talks to the press after an England training session at St Georges Park on May 22, 2018 in Burton-upon-Trent, England.

Could Fabian Delph make his Everton debut this weekend?

Everton return to Goodison Park for their first home game of the Premier League season this weekend.

A 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace on Saturday saw the Toffees kick off their campaign in underwhelming fashion.

But the visit of Watford is a chance to put things right for Everton - and manager Marco Silva might be getting a timely injury boost.

Andre Gomes looks doubtful after suffering an ankle problem at Selhurst Park, while Morgan Schneiderlin is suspended after his red card.

But is new signing Fabian Delph fit? Going by some pictures on the Toffees' Twitter page, possibly.

Delph, who joined the Goodison Park club for £8 million from Manchester City last month [The Telegraph], missed the visit to London, but he trained with his new team-mates today and here's how some fans reacted.

Silva could also give new signing Jean-Philippe Gbamin a full debut, but the Ivorian struggled after replacing Gomes at half-time against Palace and the Portuguese manager even admitted as much afterwards.

If Delph is fit, it's worth playing him.
