Celtic are out of the Champions League after losing to Cluj.
Celtic's defeat to Romanian side Cluj has ended their Champions League adventure for another season.
The 5-4 aggregate loss prompted widespread mockery from fans of rivals Rangers.
The results is damaging for Celtic, but it could have a negative impact on Rangers too beyond this season, as former star Alex Rae pointed out.
Rae referred to the UEFA co-efficient, with Scotland's low ranking already requiring the country's champions to qualify.
There is a chance Celtic's defeat has further repercussions, which could potentially include a lower seeding in draws.
Really disappointing night for Celtic as they crash out to Cluj not great for the coefficient ♂️

Rae's comment might have been part said in jest, trying to be diplomatic after a rival's exit.
But his point rings true. There are only so many damaging results Scottish sides can endure before their task gets even harder.
