According to a report from Turkish media outlet Fanatik, Galatasaray are pushing hard to sign Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama, and some Spurs fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.

The 28-year-old joined Tottenham from Southampton in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth £11 million, according to BBC Sport, and he has gone on to make 93 appearances in all competitions for the north London outfit.

Injuries then played havoc with this 2018/19 season, and he is now firmly down the central midfield pecking order at Tottenham.

Following Tanguy Ndombele's big-money arrival at Spurs, the 56-capped Kenya international will surely find it hard to break into Mauricio Pochettino's side this season.
