Allan Saint-Maximin joined Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.

Saint-Maximin joined Newcastle from Nice in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The Scottish Sun to be worth £16.5 million.
The French winger made his debut for the Magpies at the weekend, as the 22-year-old came on as a substitute against Arsenal at St. James’ Park in the Premier League.
The youngster is hugely talented and very exciting, but he has suggested that he will have to be a substitute player for now, comments which will be disappoint Newcastle fans who want to see more of him.
Saint-Maximin told The Sun: “I need more time to show what I can do. But first I have to stay on the bench and come on and play a little bit. I have to work hard in training to be in the XI and do better things.”

Saint-Maximin has arrived at Newcastle with a strong reputation, and the St. James’ Park faithful should be excited.
According to WhoScored, the winger made 34 appearances in Ligue 1 for Nice last season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in the process.
The youngster also played four times in the Europa League for Nice during the 2018-19 campaign, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
