Liam Cooper responds to Curtis Woodhouse’s comment on Leeds United

Curtis Woodhouse has claimed on Twitter that Leeds United have the best fans in England, and Liam Cooper has responded to his comment.

Woodhouse played for Leeds’s Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United from 1997 until 2001, and he believes that the Elland Road faithful are the best in England.

Cooper, who has been at Elland Road since 2014, has responded to the 39-year-old former midfielder’s tweet.

Back in action

Leeds are back in action on Tuesday evening when they take on Salford City away from home in the EFL Cup.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side will head into the tie on the back of a disappointing 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest at Elland Road in the Championship.

The West Yorkshire outfit kicked off their 2019-20 Championship campaign with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Bristol City away from home at the Ashton Gate Stadium earlier this month.

Leeds will take on Wigan Athletic away from home in their next Championship game this coming Saturday.
