Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers this season have impressed former Gers striker Kris Boyd.

The former Rangers striker, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, believes that the pace that Rangers have in attack is “unbelievable”, and he has also picked out Jordan Jones for special praise.
Rangers signed the 24-year-old Northern Ireland in the summer transfer window on a free transfer, having reached a pre-contract agreement with the winger back in January 2019.
The Express quotes Boyd as saying: “The pace Rangers have up front is unbelievable, Jordan Jones especially.”
Title challenge
Rangers do look a better team this time around than they were last season, and given their performances and results so far this season, it does look like Gerrard’s side will challenge bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title this season.
The Gers pushed the Hoops during the first half of last season, but after the mid-season winter break, the Bhoys pulled away.
Rangers need to maintain consistency this season if they are to take the Scottish Premiership title race down to the wire.
