Wise was in attendance at Vicarage Road as the Hornets hammered the Tigers in their 2019-20 Professional Development League South opening game.

Dennis Wise has taken to Twitter with a message for Watford following the Under-23s' impressive 5-0 win over their Hull City counterparts at Vicarage Road on Monday in their 2019-20 Professional Development League South opening game.
The Hornets led 2-0 against the Tigers at half time thanks to goals from a trialist and from Kane Crichlow, before Marvin Zeegelaar, Joseph Hungbo and a second strike from Crichlow rounded off the rout for the hosts, who featured six debutants in the starting XI and another two off the bench (official Watford website).
Wise, who played for the likes of Wimbledon, Chelsea, Millwall and the England national side during his playing career and coached at the likes of Southampton, Swindon and Leeds United, was in attendance at Vicarage Road.
Watford's Twitter account spotted the Londoner in the stands and shared the following post:
Wonder what @denniswise is making of this five-star show this afternoon? #WFCU23 pic.twitter.com/V8suzxb1Yz

To which Wise replied:
Very good performance

Watford's win put them top of the fledgling 2019-20 Professional Development League South table after the first matchday and although it's still very early days, it bodes very well for the new-look side as academy manager Richard Thomas and coach Hayden Mullins seek to improve on last season's second-from-bottom finish (Soccerway).
