Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo spoke to reporters after his side's 0-0 draw with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium yesterday, and shared what Brendan Rodgers told him after the game, as quoted by the club's official website.

There was plenty of controversy yesterday, with Leander Dendoncker's goal ruled out after VAR intervened, with Willy Boly being adjudged to have handled the ball before the Belgian lashed home.

Wolves showed some real class in the build up play against the Foxes, and the early signs from Nuno's side are that they will enjoy yet another successful campaign this season.

And Nuno shared with reporters how Rodgers told him what a superb game of football he witnessed at the King Power Stadium yesterday, as quoted by the club's official website:

“First of all, it was a very good game, a very good game of football; two teams intense, organised. I was talking with Brendan (Rodgers) and he said that – what a game. Leicester is a very good team, very organised and have players who caused us problems, but we were organised and in shape – we didn’t concede too many things, they had more of the ball, but we had good chances also."

Next up for Wolves is their Europa League qualifier against FC Pyunik on Thursday night, before they play host to Manchester United on Monday.

And if they play to their normal standards, there is every chance that they will win both of those games.
