Leeds United fans are still hurting from last season's play-off exit at the hands of Derby County.
It was easily the finest moment of Frank Lampard's blossoming managerial career.
It was tough to take for Leeds, having beaten Lampard's Derby three times prior to the 4-2 loss.
Lampard left Derby to take his dream job as Chelsea manager, and it has got off to the worst possible start.
Lampard's Chelsea were beaten 4-0 by Manchester United on the opening day of the Premier League season.
And it did not escape the attention of Leeds fans, who have been predicting an early demise for Lampard.
Such is their dislike of Lampard, that even a loss to their bitter historical rivals Manchester United brought a few smiles in Yorkshire.
The manner of the loss was noteworthy, and puts Lampard under immediate early pressure.
He survived a 4-1 loss early against Leeds last season, and needs to bounce back with Chelsea in a similar manner.
Here is a look at the reaction...
Tries to tell some Chelsea fans how tactically inept Lampard is, they wouldn't listen. Just thought it was a salty #lufc fan. Honestly though, he is surprisingly naive when it comes to management. Will do well to last the season.— Jay Sharked (@JaySharked) August 11, 2019
Look it's not how I'd imagined Dan James scoring against a Frank Lampard side in January but, I'll take it #LUFC— LUFC Lewis (@LewisDeighton17) August 11, 2019

Lampard: we do that too#MUNCHE
Is gonna be hilarious when Leeds are in the Prem next year and Lampard’s managing in the championship again— Wiseman (@WisemanIndy) August 11, 2019
