Celtic fans react to Filip Benkovic being left out of the Leicester City squad.

Former Celtic defender Filip Benkovic was omitted from Brendan Rodgers's squad for Leicester City's Premier League opener this afternoon.
The Foxes hosted Wolves at The King Power Stadium but there was no room for the big Croatian centre-back, a £13 million signing last summer [Sky Sports].
Benkovic spent last season on loan at Celtic and helped the Hoops to a third successive domestic treble.
They haven't been linked with bringing him back, but Rodgers, who brought Benkovic to Parkhead, said earlier this summer that if he makes him available for loan, he wouldn't mind sending him back to Glasgow [The Daily Record].
And some Celtic fans on Twitter want him back.
Benkovic not on Leicester’s bench. We should deffo make a move to bring him back on loan!

It must be stressed that being left out today doesn't indicate that Benkovic has no future under Rodgers.
Speaking on Friday, the Northern Irishman effectively confirmed that the 22-year-old would be left out, suggesting that he isn't fit enough [Leicester Mercury].
Lennon has already spent £7 million on a centre-back this summer - Christopher Jullien - and it remains to be seen if he needs or wants another.
