Gary Lineker spoke exclusively to Sport Bible and suggested that he would sign Liverpool's Mohamed Salah ahead of Tottenham hitman Harry Kane.
Salah has notched 72 goals in 106 games for Liverpool since the start of the 2017/18 campaign, whilst Kane has banged in 65 in 88 outings for Tottenham.
It really is hard to say who is the best out of the two, but Lineker made a decision when asked that exact question by Sport Bible:
"God, they're so different, even if their numbers are similar. If I had to buy one I'd probably have Mo Salah. For only one reason, that Harry's got a little ankle issue."
Both the Liverpool and Tottenham forwards will both be aiming to win the Golden Boot this season.
Salah already has the upper hand on Kane, having scored for the Reds in their Premier League opener against Norwich City last night.
Spurs kick off their season with a home game against Aston Villa later on today, and Kane will be desperate to get his campaign off to a flyer.
The Egyptian and Englishman are undoubtedly two of the very best front-men in world football, and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top of the goalscoring charts this season.
