Rio Ferdinand has told The Sun that he thinks that Aston Villa, Southampton and Norwich City will get relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.

The former Manchester United and West Ham United defender believes that Norwich’s lack of major signings in the summer transfer window will be their undoing.

Ferdinand has also suggested that Villa have made too many signings, and the former Leeds United man has also predicted Southampton in finish in the bottom three.

Ferdinand told The Sun: “Going down, I think Norwich will be a bit short, haven’t really invested, a young team. Villa, will all those players gel?

“And then I’m going to go someone like Southampton. I think Brighton will be down there, Newcastle too. But those three, I’m going to go for.”
