The Denmark international was a hero for Tottenham Hotspur today.
Bradley Allen has praised Christian Eriksen's game-changing contribution for Tottenham Hotspur this evening.
John McGinn fired the Villans into a shock lead inside 10 minutes and Tottenham, despite chances, were struggling to get back on level terms.
But Mauricio Pochettino introduced the linked-away Denmark international on 64 minutes and the hosts soon equalised through Tanguy Ndombele on his debut, before Harry Kane scored two late goals to kill Dean Smith's side entirely.
And Allen, an academy coach at the Lilywhites, was full of praise for the 'immense' playmaker.
He told BBC Sport: "Well for the last 10 minutes it's been pretty relentless from Tottenham. It's been coming. They deserve that.
"Eriksen has been immense since he came on, Aston Villa are looking fatigued. It was a superb finish for the debutante. They are going to go for it here, they are desperate for the win."
All credit to Pochettino, who resisted calls from the stands to put on Eriksen earlier, but the Argentine played it right.
If the Tottenham manger can find a way to have Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Giovani Lo Celso on the pitch simultaneously, it could be very tasty for the team.
