The Dolan Twins, two of the biggest creators on YouTube have startled their fanbase after photos of the duo with bandaged noses appeared online.

YouTube sensations the Dolan Twins have left their fanbase in disarray after photos of the two were posted online showing both brothers’ with their noses bandaged.

The alarming sight certainly came out of nowhere for shocked followers of the pair who both posted the aforementioned photos to Instagram at the same time.

It’s safe to say that the unexpected sight has certainly caught their fans off guard but is it something that their viewers need to be worried about?

Who are the Dolan twins?

The Dolan Twins, Grayson and Ethan, are a YouTube double act who have made an impressive success out of their YouTube career since they started uploading to their channel way back in July 2014.

In the five years that have followed, the brothers have amassed a huge 10 million subscriber count with their content focusing on typical YouTube trends such as challenges, pranks and general comedy videos.

Thanks to their immense popularity, the pair’s videos often end up with viewing figures in the millions.

What happened to their noses?

On August 7th, 2019, the pair both posted photos of themselves to Instagram with bandaged noses.

Without any context behind the images themselves, fans went into overdrive wondering just what had happened to the two YouTubers. Have they been in a fight? Was it a challenge gone wrong that caused this?

Nope, neither. According to Ethan, the brothers both had an operation on their noses called a septoplasty.

Will they be ok?

Of course they will, don’t worry!

A septoplasty is an operation that is used to fix or realign a deviated septum. A septum, if you weren’t sure is the bone and cartilage in your nose that separates your two nostrils.

So while the bandaged noses may look a bit silly for now, it should all be worth it in the long run.

The operation, according to Ethan, will allow the brothers to be able to breathe properly for the first time in their lives!

If that really is the case then a startling photo or two of the brothers’ bandaged noses will surely be worth it in the end.
