The Hornets have brought the Rennes and Senegal star to Vicarage Road for a reported £27million.

A number of Watford fans have taken to Twitter to celebrate the club's acquisition of Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr ahead of other top-flight European clubs (official Hornets website).
The Senegal international joins the Vicarage Road outfit on a five-year contract for a club-record fee which, though undisclosed, is claimed by Transfermarkt to be £27million.
Watford's previous club record signing was striker Andre Gray, with BBC Sport writing at the time of the deal that the player had moved for a fee thought to be £18.5million.
Sarr is the latest addition to Javi Gracia’s squad ahead of the 2019-20 Premier League campaign, following the arrival of Danny Welbeck, Craig Dawson and Tom Dele-Bashiru.

A Coupe de France winner with Rennes and an AFCON runner-up for Senegal, Sarr began his career with Metz before earning a move to Rennes in 2017.
The 21-year-old made 77 appearances for the Ligue 1 club, scoring 18 goals, and has won 21 caps for Senegal as well as playing at the World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations.
Here is what some Watford faithful said on social media regarding Sarr joining the Hornets:

Amazing - thank you Gino and Scott for all your hard work this transfer period. It is so easy to take for granted and overlook the work that goes on behind the scenes. Delighted with our new Golden Boys, the squad and head coach we already have. Great season ahead.
