Tottenham Hotspur reportedly rejected an offer of £14 million for Danny Rose from Watford.

According to a report from the Daily Mail's live transfer feed (8/8; 15:09), Watford's deadline day offer for Danny Rose was worth £14 million, but Tottenham rejected the bid as they look for double that amount for the left-back.
Rose's future has been a talking point for much of the summer. The 29-year-old was left out of Mauricio Pochettino's squad for their pre-season trip to China to try and secure a move away, and The Telegraph reported that he could still leave this summer despite returning for their Audi Cup games.
The Daily Mail reported on their live transfer feed (8/8; 15:09) that the Hornets made the eight-figure offer for the former Leeds trainee, but Spurs turned it down as they want around £28 million.
It would be an incredible piece of business for Javi Gracia's men had they managed to convince the Champions League finalists to let him go for just £14 million.

Rose has struggled with injury at times, but he has been one of the Premier League's best full-backs over the last decade. And his outstanding form towards the end of last season suggests that he still has plenty of time left at the very highest level.
He appears to be the kind of player that will be more than happy to get on with his job at Spurs if he fails to seal a move away this summer. And Tottenham fans will not be shocked if his form during the coming campaign provided no indication of the summer of uncertainty he has endured.
So it is no surprise that Daniel Levy had no interest in accepting Watford's ambitious offer.
