Danny Rose unlikely to join Watford

Tottenham made Danny Rose available for transfer last month, and with Ryan Sessegnon set to arrive, Rose's long-term future appears to lie away from Spurs.

However, The Mirror claim that Spurs have now rejected a £14million bid from Watford for Rose, meaning he's now unlikely to leave Tottenham in this transfer window.

Everton's Marcos Rojo deal off

Another deal now unlikely to happen involves Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo, with the Daily Mail claiming earlier today that the centre back was heading to Merseyside to join Everton.

Now though, they offer an update that the deal is off, as the two clubs have been unable to strike an agreement on a deal – meaning Everton are left desperately needing a defender before the deadline.

Iwobi to Everton back on?

Whilst Everton will be gutted to miss out on a defender, they may yet have been given hope in their pursuit of a winger, even after failing to sign Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.

The Mail claim that Everton's move for Arsenal ace Alex Iwobi is back on after a £30million bid was rejected on Wednesday, and they claim it will be a 'big deal' if they get it done.

Sheffield United prioritising Besic after Ndiaye snub

The Mail also claim that Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye won't be signing for Sheffield United after all, as the two clubs couldn't find an agreement.

The Blades have now turned their attention to Everton misfit Muhamed Besic, and will hope to have a deal in place before the cut-off as Chris Wilder looks to bolster his midfield options.

Leeds United complete Nketiah deal

One completed move inside the last hour saw Eddie Nketiah join Leeds United, with the Arsenal striker heading to Elland Road for a season-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old striker needs first-team football, and Leeds have swooped in to beat Bristol City to his signature, in a vital deal after Kemar Roofe's exit.

West Brom set to sign Willock

West Bromwich Albion have been busy today with deals for Grady Diangana and Charlie Austin, but Slaven Bilic will have another new face arriving at The Hawthorns.

Sky Sports claim that Benfica attacker Chris Willock is set for a loan move to the Baggies, with the 21-year-old set to spend the season with the Championship club.
