Leeds United have managed to sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah.

According to The Independent, Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah has chosen to join Leeds United this summer, with Victor Orta heavily involved in his move.

The Whites have lost Kemar Roofe to Anderlecht, and they will be looking to make some attacking signings before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.

Patrick Bamford needs support in attack, and it’s now thought that Arsenal youngster Nketiah has chosen a move to Elland Road.

The striker has been targeted by Bristol City, but Nketiah has allegedly chosen to join Leeds instead, with Orta using his contacts to get the deal done.

It’s claimed that Orta has a great relationship with Arsenal boss Unai Emery from their time together at Sevilla, and made a personal pitch for striker Nketiah on Tuesday.

That has seeming swayed both Arsenal and Nketiah into picking a move to Leeds, leaving Bristol City disappointed in the process.

The 20-year-old hit a staggering nine goals and four assists in 10 Premier League 2 games last season, and has been featuring for the Gunners in pre-season.

Quick and clinical, Nketiah has been tipped for a huge future, and Orta swooping to beat Bristol City deserves major credit, with the Spaniard landing a major coup.
