Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly closing in on Paulo Dybala.

According to Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a stunning €70million (£64.5million) deal to sign Juventus superstar Paulo Dybala.

Spurs have been linked with a whole host of number 10’s this summer, from Bruno Fernandes to Giovani Lo Celso and, more recently, Philippe Coutinho.

Dybala was another name mentioned last week, but talk of such a move died down, especially when even Manchester United backed away from a deal due to the money involved.

Now though, it’s claimed that Spurs have agreed to pay £64.5million to sign Dybala, wit Juventus accepting the terms put forward by Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

They now face a race against time to get terms agreed and a medical done ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline, in what would be a stunning move.

Dybala, 25, is one of the top names in European football, and whilst his numbers declined once Cristiano Ronaldo joined Juventus last summer, his 22 goals in the 2017-18 season showed what a talent he can be.

The Argentinian is likely to demand huge wages, probably in excess of £300,000-a-week, and with a £15million image rights fee needed too according to the Daily Mail, it’s hard to see this one going through.

Dybala would be a stunning capture for Spurs, but it’s difficult to imagine Daniel Levy paying these huge numbers, especially with Christian Eriksen still at the club.
