Manchester United are said to be keen to sign Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen this summer.

Manchester United fans are not unanimously keen on signing Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur.

The Daily Mail suggest that United are plotting a late swoop for the Tottenham man, who still has not got his move.

Eriksen has just a year left on his contract at Tottenham, and went on record in the summer to state that he would like a new challenge.

Eriksen’s options appear to be running out now though, and United may well have become his most likely suitor at this moment in time.

The Red Devils are believed to still be looking for more creativity, with Eriksen now their top target for the rest of the summer.

But not all United fans are keen on a move for the Tottenham playmaker, as they feel that better could be available.

Eriksen has really struggled over pre-season at Tottenham, with his performances poor, and his form towards the back end of last campaign was also worrying.

On his day though, the Dane has proven to be one of the finest attacking midfielders in the Premier League, and he would surely be an upgrade on any of United’s current creative options.
