Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah on loan.

A number of Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from Leeds Live which suggested that the Whites are interested in signing Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal on a season-long loan.

Leeds Live notes that Kemar Roofe is on the verge of sealing a move away from Elland Road this summer, and Marcelo Bielsa is keen for either Ryan Kent or Nketiah to replace last season's top goalscorer in the squad.

While Kent is Bielsa's first-choice target, the report adds that Victor Orta, who knows Unai Emery from his time at Sevilla, has also been in discussions with the Gunners over a potential move for the striker.

Leeds Live suggests that Arsenal are going to have numerous offers for Nketiah, and the Europa League finalists are set to demand a hefty loan fee for the 20-year-old, who has made 19 appearances for the first-team.

And the news that Leeds want Nketiah has gone down extremely well amongst the fans. While Kent goes into this season off the back of an incredibly impressive loan spell at Rangers, there are plenty who would rather see the Arsenal man arrive given that Bielsa is looking for a replacement for Roofe.

There are some fans who would rather not see the Whites sign another player on loan having signed so many players on temporary deals this summer. But the large majority believe that the youngster could be an inspired addition as Leeds seemingly prepare to confirm Roofe's departure.
