Tottenham Hotspur are said to be keen on signing Sporting Lisbon playmaker Bruno Fernandes this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur fans are hoping that Bruno Fernandes’ tears at full-time after Sporting Libson’s defeat yesterday are an indication that he’s about to leave.
The Daily Mail have suggested that Tottenham are in negotiations to sign £64 million-rated Fernandes from Lisbon, with representatives from the London club currently out in Portugal.
The Tottenham target actually started Lisbon’s match against Benfica yesterday, which they lost 5-0.
At full-time Fernandes was very emotional, and was spotted in tears.
Whether that reaction was in reaction to the result or because it was his last game for the club remains unclear.
But Tottenham fans are hoping that it is a sign that Fernandes is on his way to White Hart Lane imminently.
If Fernandes does join Tottenham then he will add to the creative options available to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Christian Eriksen’s future at Spurs remains uncertain, and it seems that Pochettino has made signing a new playmaker one of his priorities this summer.
