AS in Spain have reported that Tottenham Hotspur's Christian Eriksen is 'seriously' considering Manchester United's latest offer.
But AS reported today that the Red Devils have offered him a five-year contract and that he'd be earning the same money as Paul Pogba who, at the moment, is on a £290k-a-week deal at Old Trafford [Spotrac].
The report adds that although Eriksen is tempted by United's proposal, his 'dream' remains a move to Real Madrid and the Spanish giants have personally told him that he's still on their wishlist - if they can't sign Pogba.
The Denmark international seems spoiled for choice and it doesn't look as if Tottenham can compete.
If the figures are correct, the Lilywhites will get blown out of the water if United are willing to pay him the same money as Pogba, which is £6.7 million-a-year more than what Spurs are reportedly offering.
Thing is, the Old Trafford club only have three days in which to sign Eriksen, with the transfer window closing on Thursday, and chairman Daniel Levy won't sell until one of Giovani Lo Celso or Bruno Fernandes are over the line.
Either way, it looks unlikely that Eriksen will be a Tottenham player for much longer.
