Charlton Athletic boss Lee Bowyer remains a popular figure at Leeds United.

Bowyer is still a very popular figure at Leeds after his excellent spell there as a player.
He will now be managing Charlton against his former side this season, after leading the Addicks to promotion.
As fate would have it, Charlton’s final game of the season actually comes against Leeds.
And Bowyer has suggested that if he can keep his side up, and Leeds are having a promotion party on that day, this season will have gone exactly according to plan for him.
“We have Leeds at Elland Road on the last day. If Leeds get promotion, and we are safe, it’ll be a good way to finish the season,” he said.
The comments have gone down brilliantly with Leeds supporters, who have suggested that Bowyer could be a good option to replace Marcelo Bielsa, when he does leave.
Leeds and Charlton both got off to excellent starts to their campaigns, as they both picked up three points in their opening fixtures over the weekend.
