Leeds United kicked off their Championship campaign with an excellent 3-1 win away to Bristol City on Sunday.
There were a lot of stand-out performances from United players, especially Pablo Hernandez who opened the scoring in fine fashion, but there were also some lukewarm displays.
Stuart Dallas, in particular, had a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde performance and here's how some Leeds fans reacted to his first-half showing.
Aye with Alioski, Davis & Oduor breathing down his neck I’ll be surprised if he lasts. Plus Dallas when Ayling is back. #lufc— Tommy (@tommy_lufc) August 4, 2019
Stuart dallas is no right back— Mark G (@Mark_G_1982) August 4, 2019
Rough half here for Stuart Dallas.— Billy M (@Wideoverload) August 4, 2019
Decent solid half, agree White looks assured, Dallas and Douglas need to defend #lufc— Andy Firth (@AndrewFirth21) August 4, 2019
#lufc dallas is having a bad 45 mins, he doesnt not look his normal self— Hagar the Horrible (@Hagar62lufc) August 4, 2019
Dallas as poor as ever (can he not improve as a human being?), Bamford ineffectual, Harrison so far bang average, Klich missing - get the kids on!— David Bowes (@daveybowes) August 4, 2019
That being said, the Northern Ireland, forced to play as a right-back due to Luke Ayling's absence, improved in a big way during the second period.
Not only was he defending better, but he looked more of a threat going forward and ultimately had a hand in the Whites' third of the evening.
And by the end, Dallas was having his praises sung by the supporters on Twitter.
No one gives him the credit but Dallas was incredible today— Reece Movley (@RMovley) August 4, 2019
Everyone out in a great shift even Dallas in the right place at right time on 2 vital occasions— Russ (@russcausier) August 4, 2019
Other than the obvious (KP, Pablo and Bamford) thought Forshaw and Dallas were also superb today. A class performance. #lufc— Pen Bearson (@LUFCpearson27) August 4, 2019
Very impressed with white, Harrison, Dallas and Hanford today. Pablo was unplayable at times! #lufc— Oliver Askew (@Ollieaskew) August 4, 2019

Dallas is Mr Reliable for Leeds and it really wasn't a surprise to see him improve after the break.
He is such a professional and hard-working player, one who was vital to Marcelo Bielsa at times last season and, going by yesterday's display in a relatively unfamiliar role, he'll continue to be.
