Josh Onomah is interested in a move to Fulham as part of a deal that would see Ryan Sessegnon make his long-awaited switch to Tottenham Hotspur, as reported by Goal.
With the Championship campaign getting underway at the weekend, you would have thought that Sessegnon’s future would have been sorted out by now.
But the 19-year-old is still at Craven Cottage with just three days until the transfer window slams shut, though there is still time for that to change.
Sessegnon has been linked with a move to Tottenham incessantly over the last two years and Goal reports that Mauricio Pochettino’s side have made a bid of £30 million while offering academy graduate Onomah as a makeweight.
And suggestions that Onomah would welcome a move to West London makes Tottenham’s task just that little bit easier.
Disappointing loan spells at Aston Villa and Sheffield Wednesday haven’t exactly boosted his reputation either and it appears that the 22-year-old has no future in North London.
Though the chance to play regular first-team football at Fulham under Scott Parker could be the opportunity Onomah is crying out for.
