Kemar Roofe looks set to leave Leeds United in the summer transfer window.

Some Leeds United fans have urged the club on Twitter to sign Neal Maupay from Brentford as a replacement for Kemar Roofe.

Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa has told Sky Sports that Roofe is leaving the club in the summer transfer window.

According to Dhnet.be, the Championship club in England have agreed a deal with Belgian outfit Anderlecht over the transfer of the 26-year-old striker.

The reportedly imminent departure of Roofe, who can also operate as a winger, means that Leeds will need a replacement, and some fans of the West Yorkshire outfit want 22-year-old Brentford forward Maupay, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder and scored 25 goals and provided eight assists in 43 Championship appearances for the Bees last season, according to WhoScored.

Below are some of the best comments on Twitter.

Disappointment for some Leeds United fans?

While Maupay would be a very good signing for Leeds, it seems that the Frenchman is heading to the Premier League.

According to talkSPORT, Brighton and Hove Albion will complete the signing of the youngster imminently for £20 million.
