Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly want to sign the AC Milan ace.

According to a report from Italian media outlet Sport Mediaset, Wolves have offered €28 million (£25.6 million) for AC Milan midfield ace Franck Kessie.

The Black Country outfit have already bolstered their squad this summer, bringing in Jesús Vallejo on loan from Real Madrid and Patrick Cutrone for £16 million from AC Milan.

With the Europa League to deal with this season, however, Nuno Espirito Santo will be keen to strengthen his options even further still.

And it seems as though Wolves could raid Milan once again.

Sport Mediaset claims that Nuno has submitted a bid worth €28 million (£25.6 million) for Kessie, 22.

The 27-capped Ivory Coast international is a powerful central midfielder, and he seems to have all of the attributes required to be a success in the Premier League.

Kessie really would help solidify Wolves’ central midfield, and he would give Nuno an entirely different option in the middle of the park.

Whether Milan will accept Wolves’ bid, however remains to be seen.

Sport Mediaset do claim that the Italians are desperate to raise funds to sign Angel Correa, however, so that might just work out in the Black Country outfit’s favour.
