The winger joined the City Ground outfit from Aston Villa in the summer.

A number of Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to praise Albert Adomah’s comments to the Reds fanbase ahead of the new season.

The 31-year-old winger joined the City Ground outfit in July after being released by Aston Villa at the end of the 2018-19 season, a hugely successful campaign in which Dean Smith’s side finished in the Championship’s top six and then won the playoffs.

Adomah hit the ground running for Forest as he scored the winner in the 1-0 triumph for the Reds against Premier League side Crystal Palace in pre-season, reacting fastest to Lewis Grabban’s saved effort and rifling a shot past Wayne Hennessey.

With optimism high at the City Ground ahead of the 2019-20 Championship campaign, he took to social media with a message which was shared by the Forest Twitter account, and he got a lot of good reaction from the Trickies fanbase:

Prior to his Forest switch, Adomah was at Villa from 2016, having joined from Middlesbrough, and made 125 appearances for the West Midlanders, including 24 league starts last term (Transfermarkt), and is the second club he helped to promotion along with Boro.
