Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Oliver Skipp was introduced in the second-half by Mauricio Pochettino.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have raved about the performance of Oliver Skipp on their pre-season tour.

Skipp was handed a chance during the second half of Tottenham’s game against Real Madrid and his showing was highly impressive.

The Spurs youngster showed that he is more than capable of performing against top level opponents even at the age of 18, as he helped Mauricio Pochettino’s side to a 1-0 win over Madrid.

Skipp performed well on the ball, and highlighted his defensive ability during the contest.

And Tottenham fans have been very impressed by the prospect’s displays during their pre-season tour.

Skipp has been identified as a player who could break into Tottenham’s first-team soon, and he was given a handful of senior appearances last term.

His task of breaking into Tottenham’s midfield looks tough, especially after the arrival of Tanguy Ndombele, but he certainly appears to have the talent to compete.

Tottenham are in action again this evening when they take on Bayern Munich, and Skipp is likely to get more game time.
