Tottenham Hotspur target Giovani Lo Celso will train with Real Betis today despite having already said goodbye to his team-mates, according to a report in Spain
Tottenham have been linked with him all summer long but negotiations are worryingly slow and Informa Betis claimed this week that Napoli might join the race for his signature.
Nabil Fekir's move to the Primera Liga side was supposed to speed up Lo Celso's switch to North London but it remains to be seen when - and if - a deal can be completed.
As things stand, the Lilywhites have signed just the one first-team player this summer - Tanguy Ndombele - and with eight days left in the transfer window, the pressure is on Daniel Levy and Mauricio Pochettino to get this one over the line.
Jack Clarke has also signed for Tottenham, but the 18-year-old winger was sent back to Leeds on a season-long loan.
