The player won’t face Steven Gerrard’s Rangers at Ibrox next Saturday.

Some Rangers fans are responding to a rival Premiership club’s player after he replied to another member of the Ibrox faithful with a Shaun of the Dead meme on Twitter.
That Rangers supporter had responded to an earlier tweet from the Hibernian winger, Martin Boyle, which confirmed another injury lay-off for the player who had surgery in January.
It read: “Hahahahaha right up ye”, and has since been deleted.
And while Boyle’s reply – an apparent reference to the administration and liquidation of The Rangers Football Club plc seven years ago – drew a positive response from fans of his own club (and Celtic), it prompted the following, less amused, reaction from these Gers supporters.
Who the **** even are you
There is no love lost between Rangers and Hibernian, whose rivalry intensified during the clubs’ spell in the second tier together.
Tensions boiled over during the 2016 Scottish Cup final, which was won by Hibs even though Rangers were promoted without them that season.

Rangers fans – what do you make of Boyle’s recent Twitter activity?
