Brentford ace returns back to Leeds, briefly.

Pontus Jansson has been pictured back at Leeds United’s training base.

Former teammate Ezgjan Alioski posted a photo of the pair reunited on his Instagram story feed.

Jansson was surprisingly sold by Leeds to Brentford earlier this month.

The centre-back was likely just returning to Leeds to say his final goodbyes and collect his belongings.

He did not report to Leeds’ pre-season, instead heading straight to sign for Brentford.

His visit to Thorp Arch will be followed by a trip to Elland Road as soon as next month, with Leeds hosting Brentford in August.

Alioski and Jansson will quickly have to adapt from being friends to opponents, and neither are likely to back down from a battle.
