Tottenham Hotspur supporters on Twitter fumed at Georges-Kevin Nkoudou being part of Spurs' Audi Cup squad after previously being left out of the pre-season trip to Asia.
The North London club confirmed on their official website that Nkoudou will travel to Munich, with Mauricio Pochettino's side taking on Real Madrid and then possibly Bayern Munich or Fenerbache in Germany.
It is fair to say that since Nkoudou moved to White Hart Lane in 2016 from Ligue 1 side Marseille [BBC Sport], he has struggled to prove his worth at the Premier League club.
Some are hoping that he will be sold before the summer transfer window slams shut on August 8, with the winger struggling at loan spells at Monaco and Burnley in recent seasons.
It would be a surprise to see him being part of Pochettino's future plans, as Spurs are looking to take the next step after reaching the Champions League final in June and not forgetting their move into their new stadium.
Tottenham could play a total of two games in Munich, and it would be a surprise to see Nkoudou feature, with the new Premier League season not far away.
Pochettino's side will host newly-promoted Aston Villa on August 10, with the Midlands outfit being the busiest team during the summer transfer window.
Here is a selection of Tottenham fans reacting to Nkoudou's return:

1. Shop window
2. Has miraculously impressed Pochettino over the weekend in training
Very odd ♂️
Christ didn’t realise NKoudou was still knocking around the club!!! #COYS— Alex Reddick (@AlexReddick) July 29, 2019
Good to see Lloris, Sanchez & Rose back in the squad for the Audi Cup.— Ashley Newman (@Ashnewman) July 29, 2019
Surprised at Nkoudou’s inclusion, other than that it’s the same as the squad that went out for the International Champions Cup tour.#AudiCup2019 #COYS
Livid that I have to see Nkoudou in a Tottenham shirt again— Josh (@josh_smith1882) July 29, 2019
