Tottenham Hotspur have previously been linked with the Crystal Palace winger, who now wants a move to White Hart Lane.

According to the Independent, Wilfried Zaha’s representatives have been in contact with Tottenham Hotspur as they try to get him a move.

Zaha wants a move to Tottenham, as he eyes up an exit from Crystal Palace.

The Ivorian international is eager to move on, and he feels that a switch to Tottenham could be ideal for him.

Spurs are said to be fully aware of the developing situation, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side have no interest in making the transfer as things stand.

Palace are demanding £70 million for Zaha, and they want £55 million of any transfer fee this summer.

At that price Tottenham are currently not interested in doing business, which means Zaha may be forced to stay with Palace.

Tottenham’s stance seems sensible at the moment too, even though their lack of additions is becoming frustrating once again.

Zaha is now 26, and his price is hugely inflated, given that he has little re-sale value.

Spurs tend to like to buy younger players than Zaha, and even though he would enhance the quality of Pochettino’s attacking options, at his current fee, Spurs are right to have their concerns about the transfer.
