According to Goal in Italy, Tottenham Hotspur target Paulo Dybala has been told by Juventus that they want to sell him.

The London Evening Standard have suggested that Tottenham may break their transfer record on Dybala this summer, with the Lilywhites prepared to pay £80 million to sign him.

And Dybala may just have been given some encouragement to pursue a move to White Hart Lane, as Juve has told him they want to move him on.

Dybala is currently still believed to be keen to stay at Juve and fight for his place in Maurizio Sarri’s side, but if Spurs can agree a fee, then the move may just have become more appealing.

Dybala’s links with Tottenham look extremely exciting, especially as Mauricio Pochettino is known to be a big fan.

Dybala would be the most high profile player Tottenham have signed for many a year, and his potential partnership with Harry Kane is a fearsome prospect.

However, Tottenham are now running out of time to complete a deal, with the season starting in under two weeks’ time.
