AC Milan look to have beaten Everton and Aston Villa to Rafael Leao.

According to Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, Lille forward Rafael Leao is set to sign for AC Milan – and even has a photo of him arriving in Milan to join the club.

Leao, 20, left Sporting in his native Portugal last summer after fans stormed their training ground, meaning he was able to terminate his contract.

Despite major interest from massive clubs, Leao chose Lille instead, and he hit eight goals and three assists in 24 appearances for the club last season.

Leao is now attracting major interest, and it seems that Milan have won the race to sign him after selling youngster Patrick Cutrone to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Leao has now arrived in Milan to finalise his move, which will allegedly cost €30million (£26.5million) plus add-ons, which seems like a great deal.

That may be a blow to Everton and Aston Villa, as according to L’Equipe and as relayed by Get French Football News earlier this month, both teams launched bids to sign him.

Milan appear to have swooped in and got him ahead of the Premier League duo though, and he’ll now look to support Krzysztof Piatek in an exciting Milan attack.

Everton and Villa will now have to look elsewhere, and whilst Everton appear to have their new striker target lined up in Moise Kean, Villa will need to go back to the drawing board.
