Who is Radio 1's Arielle Free?
Arielle is a new morning show host who will join Radio 1 from September 2019.
The stunning redhead hails from Glasgow, Scotland, and had a background in dance before finding fame as a DJ and broadcaster.
She was born on March 29th, 1988 making her 31 years old in 2019.
Arielle Free's career
You may recognise Arielle's Scottish twang from podcasts such as Love Island: The Morning After with Kem Cetinay and Worst Dates.
She also presents Scrambled! on CITV and has stepped in to help cover previous Radio 1 shows such as Early Breakfast and Radio 1’s Dance Anthems.
She'll be hosting the new show on Fridays from 4am-6am and Saturdays and Sundays 5am-7am.
Arielle said of her new job role:
“To use a cliché, it is a dream come true for me to join the greatest radio station in the world. Radio 1 is the reason why I got into broadcasting in the first place.”

The podcast presenter has 55,000 followers on Instagram (@ariellefree) and a further 14,000 on Twitter.
