Aston Villa have enjoyed a stupidly-good summer in terms of recruitment.
Dean Smith has splashed over £100 million on 10 players, but there's nobody who you could say definitively is an absolute bargain as of yet.
However, that could change for Aston Villa very soon.
According to The Sun, the Villans are close to 'thrashing out' a deal for Club Brugge midfielder Marvelous Nakamba and this would be an incredible deal for Smith.
The report adds that Brugge now only want £12 million. In June, when the link first arose, it was £20 million [The Chronicle] and the fact that Villa seem to be getting him for £8 million less is unreal.
Bear in mind that this is a player who dazzled against Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Monaco in the Champions League last season.
The Premier League shouldn't offer much fear for a player with immense pedigree, and to be getting him for that price, significantly less than originally quoted, means he could be the best value signing that the West Midlands club makes.
