Tottenham Hotspur may still be in the market for a new striker this summer, but the name Ivan Morales won't have been on the shopping lists of many fans.
Spurs obviously have Harry Kane in their ranks, but with Fernando Llorente released at the end of his contract, a new hitman may be wanted, even though Llorente may yet return.
Tottenham fans would no doubt love a big signing, but Mauricio Pochettino may instead look to bring in a youngster for the future instead.
Chilean attacker Morales has seemingly caught the eye, having impressed for Chile's Under-23's and with Colo Colo in his homeland.
The 20-year-old has been tipped for a bright future, and La Cuarta in Chile claim that Spurs have already failed with a $3million (£2.4million) bid for the youngster last week.
Tottenham may well return with a new move for the attacker, who can play centrally or on either flank, which is the type of versatility that Pochettino loves.
BioBio Chile now carry quotes from Colo Colo vice-president Harold Mayne-Nicholls, who claims that Morales has a release clause in his contract of just €5million (£4.5million).
That's a potential bargain deal for Spurs, and maybe the type of punt that Pochettino would be keen to secure, especially with rival interest from clubs over in Spain.
Spurs need to almost double their first offer though having come up well short initially, and we'll now see whether a new move materialises before the transfer deadline next month.
