Gary Lineker has been amazed by the plans for Everton’s new ground.

Everton released a preview of their intention to build a new stadium on Bramley Moore Dock, and the proposals were very impressed.

Lineker, who used to play for Everton, was certainly very impressed and reacted with one word on Twitter.

Everton’s new ground is designed to hold 52,000 people and it would be a big upgrade on Goodison Park.

Everton’s ground has great history, but is one of the older stadiums in the Premier League.

The Toffees are hoping for their new stadium to be ready for the 2023/24 campaign.

Everton’s owner Farhad Moshiri has already spent big since taking charge, and the new stadium is just another indication of the ambitious plans the Merseyside club have for the future.
