If Queens Park Rangers want a new striker, they have been given the perfect chance to sign Jordan Rhodes from Championship rivals Wednesday.

Queens Park Rangers have been offered the chance to sign Jordan Rhodes on loan from Sheffield Wednesday, according to West London Sport.
The Londoners only narrowly avoided slipping into a relegation battle last season and, while their often abysmal defending was the major reason behind their 19th place finish, a lack of firepower at the other end didn’t help either.
QPR’s three joint-top scorers finished on just seven goals and one of those, Luke Freeman, has since departed Loftus Road for Sheffield United.
So a team now managed by Mark Warburton must be tempted to seize the chance to bring in a natural-born goalscorer like Rhodes.
The 29-year-old might not have realised the potential he showcased during that prolific, record-breaking spell at Huddersfield Town but he still has a more than productive record at Championship level.

Sheffield Wednesday paid £10 million for Rhodes back in 2017, as reported by the Yorkshire Post, and the Scot helped Norwich City win the league title last season during a loan spell at Carrow Road.
And with Rhodes seemingly no longer part of Wednesday’s plans, West London Sport claims that he’s been offered to QPR on another season-long deal.
