The new Aston Villa right-back is looking sharp in pre-season.

Aston Villa continued their preparations for the new English Premier League season with a thumping 5-1 friendly win away to English League Two side Walsall on Wednesday night.
A double from Jota, two more from Wesley Moraes and another from Jack Grealish ensured the victory.
Having utilised a different eleven per half against Minnesota United and Shrewsbury Town, Villa boss Dean Smith decided to up the load on his starting players, giving most of them 70 minutes of action before bringing others off the bench.
One of those starting the match was new arrival Frederic Guilbert, who signed for the club in January but was loaned back to Ligue 1 outfit Caen for the remainder of the 2018/19 season.
He’s been looking sharp in pre-season so far and it was his assist that allowed Jota to get the scoring underway, who coolly struck home Guilbert’s superb low cross from the right flank.
The 24-year-old looks like an exciting addition to the team at this stage and with a wealth of experience in the French top-flight behind him is well placed to make the step up into the Premier League.

Some fans are certainly encouraged by his performances so far, with this lot taking to Twitter to give a verdict on his Walsall display…
