Aston Villa have been busy in the transfer market this summer, but they're on the verge of adding yet another signing to Dean Smith's side.
Smith has been able to sign Tyrone Mings, Kortney Hause and Anwar El Ghazi permanently after successful loans, as well as bringing in Ezri Konsa, Bjorn Engels, Matt Targett, Jota and Wesley.
Villa have been in the market for at least one more winger even after the deals for El Ghazi and Jota, and Egyptian star Trezeguet has been strongly linked.
The Kasimpasa wide man, 25, has caught Villa's eye, and the Express and Star now claim that a deal worth £8.75million is now on the verge of completion.
Now, a photo posted by Egyptian newspaper Youm7 has shown Trezeguet signing his contract, with Villa sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch.
It now seems clear beyond all doubt that Trezeguet is signing for Villa, and a deal should be announced later today after this photo emerged late last night.
Trezeguet, 24, hit nine goals and 10 assists for Kasimpasa last season, and impressed with his pace, dribbling and end product.
The winger – real name Mahmoud Hassan – is an international teammate of Villa ace Ahmed Elmohamady, and he may help the winger settle in at Villa Park once his move is finally confirmed.
