Celtic loaned out Lewis Morgan to Sunderland last term, but he has featured for Neil Lennon's men this term.
Morgan was loaned out by Celtic to Sunderland last term, and there were suggestions that he could leave Parkhead again this summer.
However, the £300,000 signing (Daily Record) has featured in Celtic’s first competitive games of the season in Champions League qualifying, helping his side to a 5-2 aggregate victory over Sarajevo.
And now Morgan has a taste for life at Celtic he has confirmed that he does not want to leave again.
“I am not thinking about anything other than Celtic at the moment and making my mark here,” he said.
“Loan talk? I haven’t entertained any of that. I am here at the moment and I am taking every day as it comes. I am privileged to be at this club.”
If Morgan is to force his way into Celtic’s team he will need to show more consistency than he did last term.
Morgan had a fairly productive spell with Sunderland, but he showed his quality in glimpses rather than consistently.
Celtic could yet bring in more attacking players this summer, which would obviously make Morgan’s task of breaking through even tougher.
Celtic are next in action later this evening, when they take on Nomme Kalju, and Morgan may well feature again.
