How to get EA Access on PS4 and Xbox One!

A Way Out

How to reap the benefits of a subscription to EA Access on PS4 and Xbox One.

Despite releasing the year's worst game so far, Anthem, and continually spoiling their reputation with daft comments about loot boxes being "surprise mechanics," EA is still the loathsome mean girl everyone hates but still wants to be around. Xbox One players have been able to enjoy the company's games for a while through the EA Access subscription, and now - five-years later - PlayStation 4 gamers will be able to reap the same benefits.

Below you'll find out everything you need to know about what EA Access is and how you can subscribe to it on PS4 and Xbox One.

What is EA Access

EA Access is membership programme for EA's best titles. Similar to PS Plus, it is a subscription service that can be paid for monthly or annually.

As per the official EA Access website, a subscription to the platform will provide PlayStation gamers with a 10% discount on all EA titles, DLC, and Ultimate Team content sold on the PSN Store.

Not only that, but perhaps the biggest draw is that the platform will allow you to sample a taste of the company's newest games before committing to a purchase.

These Play First Trials will unlock up to ten hours worth of gameplay before games are even released. The cynic in me says that this will just result in all EA games being super polished for the first ten hours and then full of kinks afterwards, but it's still something that would have been welcomed with Anthem as that game became a chore in the first five hours.

In addition to the above, EA Access also provides "Unlimited access to a massive collection of EA games that you can play as much as you want, whenever you want."

Below you'll find all the EA Access listed games for PS4:

  • A Way Out
  • Battlefield V
  • Burnout Paradise Remastered
  • Fe
  • FIFA 19
  • Madden NFL 19
  • Mass Effect: Andromeda
  • NBA Live 19
  • NHL 19
  • Titanfall 2
  • The Sims 4
  • Unravel Two

As for the price, Gamespot says subscription fees will be $5 every month with the option of an annual subscription for $30 a year.

Everything EA Access offers PlayStation 4 gamers is the same on Xbox One.
